From the design process, to material sourcing and production, we always choose options that minimize waste and ensure long-lasting designs.
Our rugs stand for solidarity. Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.

Each Lorena Canals product is carefully handcrafted by our artisans in our own factory in India using ancestral craft techniques. It wasn't clear to me in the photos or description, that there is significant gaps between the color squares in this rug. About half an inch between each square, which makes it feel strange to walk on.

Love this rug.
Love this rug. Very cozy under the feet and looks beautiful in our nursey. Only downside is that it sheds a lot of fuzz on dark colored pants.

Nice Design and Soft feel for Boys Room
This rug has a soft, yet durable feel. We originally had the LC Koa Wool Rug in our boys bedroom, but the texture was a little too course for our kids skin. The Kitchen Tiles rug solved that with a soften cotton feel and a fun design. It vacuums and washes well. Also, it is true to color as a dark grey- it is not a true black, which we prefer as the design looks more subdued.
