Lorena turned a beloved African bracelet made of precious cowrie shells into a rug. A passionate seashell collector, she managed to depict this carefully handcrafted piece of beadwork jewelry through tufted wool. A bold piece with an exotic vibe to decorate hallways in style. Each washable wool rug comes packed in a cotton tote bag that can be used for storage and includes a complimentary anti-slip underlay to fit under the rug and keep it in place.

Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.
