These General Terms and Conditions govern purchases made through lorenacanals.us.

These Terms apply to purchases made through the website by consumers.
2. Scope and Acceptance of the Terms
These Terms govern the purchase of products through lorenacanals.us and form part of the contractual relationship between Lorena Canals USA Inc. and the customer.
By placing an order through the website, the customer confirms that they have read and accepted these Terms.
The customer may consult, download or save these Terms before completing their purchase.
The version of the Terms applicable to an order is the version in force at the time the order is placed.
Nothing in these Terms shall limit any mandatory consumer rights granted by applicable law.
3. Products and Product Information
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, dimensions, colours and other product information displayed on the website are accurate and up to date.
Our products are handcrafted and may present slight variations in colour, texture, shape or finish. Such variations are inherent to the handcrafted nature of our products and do not necessarily constitute a defect or lack of conformity.
Colours displayed on screen may also vary depending on the device, screen settings and other technical factors.
The characteristics and specifications stated on the relevant product page shall apply to the product purchased.
4. Product Availability
Products are subject to availability.
Where a product is unavailable after an order has been placed, we will inform the customer as soon as reasonably possible and may offer an alternative solution or refund the amount paid for the unavailable product.
Lorena Canals USA Inc. reserves the right to limit quantities purchased where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraudulent or abusive purchasing activity.
5. Made-to-Order and Pre-Order Products
Some products are made to order or available for pre-order and may therefore have longer production and delivery times than products currently in stock.
Unless otherwise indicated on the relevant product page, made-to-order products may take approximately 120 days to be produced and delivered.
These timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on production and logistical circumstances.
The applicable estimated timeframe will be indicated on the relevant product page whenever possible.
Made-to-order and pre-order products are not eligible for return or exchange.
6. Orders and Order Confirmation
To place an order, the customer must complete the purchase process on the website and provide the information required to process the order.
Before completing the purchase, the customer will have the opportunity to review and correct the order details.
Once an order has been submitted, the customer will receive an order confirmation by email.
The order confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order but does not prevent Lorena Canals USA Inc. from taking the actions described in these Terms where an order cannot be fulfilled.
The sales contract is formed when the order is accepted by Lorena Canals USA Inc. and the customer receives confirmation of the order.
We reserve the right not to accept or to cancel an order where reasonably justified, including in cases of product unavailability, evident pricing or technical errors, suspected fraud or misuse, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If an order is cancelled after payment has been made, the amount paid for the cancelled products will be refunded.
7. Prices, Taxes and Currency
Product prices are displayed on the website in U.S. dollars.
Applicable sales taxes, where required, will be calculated and displayed during checkout based on the customer's shipping address.
Shipping costs, where applicable, will be displayed during the checkout process before the order is completed.
The total amount payable by the customer will be shown before the order is placed.
In the event of an evident pricing or technical error affecting a product or order, Lorena Canals USA Inc. reserves the right to correct the error and, where necessary, cancel the affected order and refund any amount already paid.
8. Payment Methods
Payment can be made using the payment methods available at checkout.
Depending on the customer's location and the payment options available at the time of purchase, available payment methods may include American Express, Maestro, UnionPay, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal and Klarna.
The payment methods available for a particular order will be displayed during checkout.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.
Lorena Canals USA Inc. does not have access to or store complete payment card details where payment is processed by third-party payment providers.
9. Shipping and Delivery
Orders placed through lorenacanals.us are shipped from Yardville, New Jersey.
We currently ship within the United States and to Canada. Shipping availability and costs may vary depending on the destination.
For deliveries within the contiguous United States, standard shipping is free for orders over $249. Orders below $249 are subject to a fixed shipping charge of $18.
Free shipping does not apply to Hawaii or Alaska.
The estimated delivery time within the United States is approximately 3 business days for the East Coast and 7 business days for the West Coast.
At this time, we do not offer an express shipping service.
We do not deliver to PO Box addresses.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, adverse weather conditions, customs procedures or other logistical circumstances.
Orders placed during weekends or holidays will generally be processed on the next working day.
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information. If a delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer, additional delivery costs may apply.
Where applicable, responsibility for the products transfers to the customer in accordance with applicable consumer law.
10. Returns
Customers may return eligible products within 14 days from the date of delivery.
To be eligible for return, products must be unused, unwashed and in their original condition, with their original packaging and labels intact.
Products must be returned in accordance with the return instructions provided by Lorena Canals USA Inc.
Partial returns are permitted where applicable.
11. Products Excluded from Returns
Certain products are not eligible for return.
In particular, customised, personalised, made-to-order and pre-order products cannot be returned or exchanged.
Swatches are also non-returnable.
Orders placed through the Interior Design Platform or other professional services may be subject to separate terms and conditions and are not governed by these consumer return conditions.
Nothing in this section limits any rights that may apply to defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied products under applicable law.
12. Return Costs
A $15 return fee applies to eligible returns and will be deducted from the amount refunded to the customer.
If a customer chooses to return a product independently rather than using the return process provided by Lorena Canals USA Inc., the customer is responsible for the applicable return shipping costs.
Where a product is defective, damaged upon arrival or incorrectly supplied, the customer should contact Customer Service before returning the product. Lorena Canals USA Inc. will provide the appropriate instructions for resolving the issue.
13. Exchanges
Lorena Canals USA Inc. does not currently offer direct exchanges.
If a customer wishes to purchase a different product, the original eligible product must be returned in accordance with these Terms and a new order must be placed.
Made-to-order, pre-order, customised and personalised products are not eligible for exchange.
14. Refunds
Once a returned product has been received and inspected, the refund will be processed within 10 business days.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
The customer will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed.
The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's account may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.
15. Product Defects and Warranty
If a product arrives damaged, defective or does not correspond to the product ordered, the customer should contact Customer Service as soon as possible and provide the order number and any relevant information or images describing the issue.
Where applicable, customers may also be asked to provide the white guarantee label attached to the product.
Lorena Canals USA Inc. will review the claim and, where appropriate, provide a suitable solution in accordance with applicable law and the circumstances of the case.
This section does not limit any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable federal or state law.
16. Gift Cards – Terms and Conditions
Lorena Canals Gift Cards are electronic gift cards that can be purchased through the website and are delivered by email.
The Gift Card code must be entered during checkout in the designated gift card or discount code field.
Gift Cards are valid exclusively on the official Lorena Canals website.
Gift Cards are non-returnable.
Each Gift Card is valid for two years from the date of purchase.
17. Order Cancellation
Customers may request the cancellation of an order before it has entered a stage of processing or production that prevents cancellation.
For customised, personalised, made-to-order or pre-order products, cancellation may not be possible once production or preparation has started.
Lorena Canals USA Inc. may also cancel an order where reasonably justified, including in cases of product unavailability, evident pricing or technical errors, suspected fraudulent activity, misuse of promotional codes or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where an order is cancelled by Lorena Canals USA Inc. after payment has been made, the amount paid for the cancelled products will be refunded.
18. Promotions, Discounts and Promotional Codes
Promotions, discounts and promotional codes are subject to the specific conditions communicated with each promotion.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional codes must be entered during checkout and cannot normally be applied retrospectively.
Only one promotional code may be used per order unless expressly stated otherwise.
Promotions may be subject to minimum purchase amounts, product exclusions, customer eligibility requirements or specific validity periods.
Promotions may not apply to customised, personalised, made-to-order, pre-order or other excluded products unless expressly stated.
Lorena Canals USA Inc. reserves the right to correct or cancel a promotion in the event of an obvious technical or pricing error.
The specific conditions communicated for each promotion shall prevail where they differ from these general promotional rules.
Where a promotion includes a complimentary gift and a return causes the order to no longer meet the minimum purchase requirement, the complimentary gift must also be returned.
19. The LC Family Loyalty Programme
Participation in The LC Family loyalty programme is subject to the separate The LC Family Terms.
These Terms govern purchases made through the website but do not replace or modify the specific terms applicable to the LC Family loyalty programme.
20. Personal Information and Privacy
The processing of personal information in connection with purchases and use of the website is governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how Lorena Canals USA Inc. collects, uses and protects personal information and how customers may exercise their privacy rights.
21. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the customer's purchase, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply under applicable federal or state law.
Where the customer is a consumer, nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law.
Any dispute arising in connection with a purchase shall be subject to the competent courts determined in accordance with applicable law, including any mandatory jurisdiction rules protecting consumers.
22. Changes to These Terms
Lorena Canals USA Inc. may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, website or applicable legislation.
The version applicable to a purchase is the version in force at the time the order is placed.
Any material changes will be published on the website with the corresponding updated date.
