A beautifully handcrafted wool rug, showcasing a refined geometric design that unveils its imperfect beauty over time. Designed with a Natural canvas base and delicate Sand Stone accents, this piece embodies quiet elegance and subtle sophistication, effortlessly enhancing the ambiance of any room. The Unexpected Collection is available in six sizes and six colors, offering flexibility to suit various spaces.

Thanks to the WOOLABLE® patent, this rug is not only machine washable but also lightweight and softer than traditional tufted wool rugs. Each washable wool rug comes packed in a cotton tote bag that can be used for storage and includes a complimentary anti-slip underlay to fit under the rug and keep it in place.

Wool rugs may shed fibers when new or during use. This is a natural characteristic of the wool fiber. Lay the rug flat for 2-3 days after unpacking. Afterward, gently brush or vacuum to restore the pile.

WASHING & CARE INSTRUCTIONS
  • Using a rug pad may help prevent excessive shedding.
  • Our Woolable rugs are recommended for children over 3 years old, as shedding can cause discomfort for babies and toddlers playing on the floor.
  • Avoid using cleaning robots or vacuums with beater bars to prevent damaging the pile.
  • Use a low-powered vacuum cleaner regulary to clean and counteract shedding.
  • Tumble dry at low temperature. Do not leave in the washer
  • We recommend using our dryer balls to ensure a longer lifespan
  • Wash separately at 86 °F maximum
  • Do no use bleach of fabric softeners
  • Avoid continuous exposure to sun
  • Do not use a washing machine with a center centrifuge / agitator, as it may damage the rug.

This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.
