This washable rug design is inspired by the typical Ikat pattern found in the Gelim rugs of the Nomadic tribes, although with a more contemporary interpretation. An ethnic touch for any room that will blend in perfectly with its neutral beige palette. A cotton tote bag and a non-slip underlay are included with every wool rug.

Avoid using cleaning robots or vacuums with beater bars to prevent damaging the pile.
Do not use a washing machine with a center centrifuge / agitator, as it may damage the rug.

Touched by seeing children whose future is determined by their family's economic circumstances, Lorena Canals decided to offer her own social support by giving them access to education. This is how the Sakûla Project was born, a nursery school in the north of India where street children can receive food and education. There are currently 120 children attending the school and counting.
