Most importantly - I absolutely love this rug. It's very cozy and comfortable. It feels like a high end rug. The colours are significantly paler than in the photos, but I still like the look and feel a lot.
However, the included non stick rug pad that you need to go underneath is made of PVC. I think that's a shame considering all the marketing around natural/non toxic materials. I also think it's poor form of Lorena canals not to put the materials of the rug pad on their website, and can't help but believe this is deliberate. I found out the material off the rug pad from looking where it's for sale on a different website. I purchased an additional 100% rubber rug pad from rugs by roo for $135.
I still love the rug, but figured this information could be helpful to someone.

This rug came so fast and is very pretty and high quality. We haven't noticed any shedding on our clothing or in the room, we only notice when we vacuum it picks up a lot of fibers. Would definitely purchase again!
Supposed to be grey was brown….tried to order colour cards but wanted to charge $90 for $40 two colour cards this is the issue with selling North American distribution rights to US distributors … will never buy again
I absolutely LOVE that Lorena Canals offers samples now. They're pretty big but it really helps you visual the touch and color so much more than online pics. I've wanted so many of their rugs but when I got they just never meshed well with my home (floor and wall colors, the sunlight/window directions etc.). It's fantastic and I hope they use the same color names in their non-custom rugs to better help visual those too without the waste of ordering/returning. Now to just decide on a rug size!
Firstly, it wasn’t easy to find a matching tool for the screws — I’m surprised one wasn’t provided, like IKEA typically does for way less expensive items. Secondly, the yellowish and glossy lacquer on the wood looks cheap and unappealing. I’ll definitely be sanding it off only because I like the shape and fabric.
I am impressed with the quality of these rugs. Plus they are ethically made and washable. They truly check all the boxes, for a very reasonable price.

This rug is adorable. Whimsical, yet still elegant and easy to match with other decor. And it’s very very soft! The 3D snail is a bit hard, would just recommend that corner of the rug isn’t placed in a high traffic area.

Second time LC buyer and even more impressed now to see the consistency of this brand. The rug was shipped and delivered extremely quickly, the quality is unmatched, and the color and design is absolutely beautiful. On top of all this, the price is fair. I needed a high quality rug that I was comfortable taking up a lot of space in a small nursery. This is definitely my go to rug company from now on.
So soft! Feels like good quality. My toddler absolutely loves it, laying on it, naming the planets and more. Haven’t washed it yet so can’t speak to that aspect but we’re happy with it so far.
